Liam (me) spinning around as a 3D modelSpreads from Veraison V5
Hello, I am Liam Alexander Quinn, a graphic designer based in Naarm/Melbourne. I work at Weekdays, a design and branding studio, working with a bunch of cool hospitality businesses. I'm also head designer and co-owner at Veraison, a formerly physical wine zine which is currently transitioning to a website. Before Weekdays, I was at Blackhearts & Sparrows as their in-house designer; working on campaigns, brand work, product designs, packaging, signage, and everything in between.
Recently, most of my studio work has been designing and developing websites, motion graphics and video work. At heart I'm a playful concept guy with a lot of love for injecting work with a dose of humour and panache. Some examples of work and play are below.

"Self Awarehouse" is a miniature warehouse party (graffitied by real taggers!) which is a little cagey about being shut down by police. If you get too close, the music stops, the strobes stop, and the "people" inside start shushing each other. The party remains incognito until you walk away again.

Claire Adey is a food writer with MFWF, Broadsheet and Good Food Guide, and needed a simple website to host links to work. The "cookies" section felt like the right place for a surprise, since Claire is arguably Melbourne's leading sweetie treaty expert.

Though not an industry I wish to involve myself with in the future, I am proud of the work I produced for Idol Horse, an international racing news website priding itself on journalistic excellence and strong multilingual content coverage.
"Inflation"

Inflation is a car-wash style inflatable "air dancer", who only inflates when the price of Bitcoin is inflating. The price is checked every 30 seconds. "Inflation" is driven by a Raspberry Pi and a relay which toggles power to the motor, meaning the air dancer could be swapped out for a full-size one in future.
